Studio Concepts' most popular product is a complete package of float production services. We work with our clients to create a design which fits their image and vision, as well as the theme of the event they have chosen to participate in, and then handle all phases of construction and operation of the float. Our team of experienced float builders do all of the welding, carpentry, sculpting, painting, and mechanical work in our fully equipped float production facility. We handle all paperwork, including parade entry forms and - where applicable - transportation permits, and schedule police escorts to and from the parade. We deliver the float to the parade, in any city, and provide the staff to operate it. We can also hire performers to appear on the float, and can arrange for costuming of riders you select.

Custom Float Sales

Studio Concepts also builds custom floats for purchase. Complete floats can be built to your design or one we create with you, which you then own and operate yourself. These are usually smaller units, but can be made any size. They can be self propelled or towed, and can be equipped with sound, lighting, and animation systems. Specialized float trailers are also available for transporting your float.

Design

Not sure how to get started? Studio Concepts can turn your vision into a workable float design for you to build from. Levels of service range from providing a basic design rendering to drafting complete construction plans. We also have floral designers available who can help you plan and order the natural decorating materials for your float, and our mechanical animation department can show you how to get things moving.

Float Prop Fabrication

Perhaps your group is looking forward to building and decorating its own float, but no one has the time or expertise to create the intricate sculpted characters you envision as part of your design. Studio Concepts has the artists and facilities to produce high quality sculpture in a variety of media, including hard coated foam, fabric covered wire, and fiberglass. Props can be provided ready to use or partially completed for finishing and installation by your group. We are also equipped to spray two-part urethane foam onto structures we build or you supply.

Chasis Construction and Rental

Is your group eager to build its own float, but not sure what sort of vehicle to build it on? Studio Concepts manufactures custom chassis for you to use as the foundation for your float. Chassis can be built one at a time to meet the needs of individual floats, or a fleet can be produced for an entire parade or themed attraction. Float chassis can be self-propelled or trailers, and a variety of sizes and styles can be constructed to meet your needs. Studio Concepts also has chassis available to rent, and can deliver them anywhere - including overseas.
